Who hasn't seen this movie!? Anyhow, it's about three confirmed bachelors who are roommates: Jack the actor, Michael the artist and Peter the architect. After Jack leaves the country to do a film, Michael and Peter find a baby left on their doorstep. Michael and Peter find out just how hard it is to raise a baby but learn about all the rewards too. We are introduced to Derek de Lint's character when Peter's girlfriend drops by right with her date, Jan, a cello player, who is about to perform that evening.
